COLORS

Colors

When we think about the idea of festivity which is festivals, physically, there are numerous things our mind can grasp.

For us, Filipinos, food has always been the priority. The art of preparing different kinds of dishes in every home you visit. People usually go from one house to another to taste each family's cuisine. From main dish to the desserts, though one may salty and one is sweet, people always have the drive to eat. From the juice to alcoholic drinks, where "tuba" is the main character, people enjoys until they get drunk. After a long day, with mixed food, they'll just end up having bad stomach.

Another thought is about the joyous music. The louder the "karaoke," the more they will feel the happiness. But sometimes, music can be bad if it makes noises. If the acoustic mixed with rock and mellow music of another, it can be a terrible disaster. It also may create conflicts if one got irritated with the voice of their neighbors singing, especially at night. In conclusion, mixed music can cause pollution.

But I guess this one thing that always come to our minds when we think about festivals that after the celebration may keep up smile. It is the colors, the colorful "banderitas" and other decorations we expect to see that best represents what celebrations are. Celebrations are not fully made up with white or red, black can also participate. Bad talents and skills are still useful when nurtured. That's why we have events like this, culturing those things for us and for this society.

The different colors signifies different aspects a festival have. Like festivals, our school is also made up with different colors, different beliefs, different talents and many other differences but if we learn to mixed them properly and use them in good, like blue mixed with yellow, we can produce green. A greener future that is about to be seen.

Abide
ni Bannie Bandibas

Go with the flow—
A famous phrase, misunderstood.
Became a toxic material,
People seen as food.

Go with the flow
Is riding on a boat in a river,
You must also navigate—
Be like a sea fearer.

Go with the flow
Is not just existing and moving,
Not just living on what's happening
But it is doing something.

Go with the flow
Is walking up or down the hill,
Effort differs but controlled
For the direction to be still.

Go with the flow
And abide with the current, drive,
Coz' everything may happen
But goals requires strive.

Para sa mga Makukunat
ni Bannie Bandibas

Mandurugas na may balbas,
Akala mo kung sinong Onesto.
Kwento'y masyado nang gasgas,
Ulitin ma'y di na epektibo.

Kalyo sa pisnge'y pakitabasan,
Uhog ay kailangan na ng punas.
Nasaan na ba ang katapatan?
Anong gamot sa sakit ng ahas?

T*ng-*na, saan ka ba humuhugot
ng kakapalan ng mukha?
Sarap mong tirisin na parang surot
nang di na makapanloko pa.
