A REVIEW ON: KASINGKASING | KASING-KASING

The idea to have this zine is influenced by Sir Kajo Baldisimo , illustrator of Trese, from Philippine Book Festival by National Book Development Board - Philippines held at SM Lanang last August. Jedaia Viscayno Bandibas and I met him at a talk and we had the chance to talk with him (and personally gave him my first zine produces by 8letters ). We told him things like I am a writer and my wife is an artist and more. He then encouraged us to produce a comics and collaborate like what he is doing with Trese. Puhon is our response.

This zine is a little step towards that dream that, in time, we can contribute to Philippine KOMIKS. This is also the reason why the overall design of the cover is comic style. Again, puhon...

Idinadaos ang SOX Zine Festival taon-taon upang magbigay ng plataporma sa indie at lokal na mga manunulat at/o mga pablisyer upang maibahagi sa paraan ng pagbebenta ang kanilang produktong literatura. Sa taong ito ay pinangunahan ang piyesta ng pangkat na Tridax Zines , sa pakikipagtulungan ng Sarangani Writers League at Maratabat: MSU-Gensan Writers Guild —suportado rin ng National Book Development Board - Philippines at Aklat Alamid .

Si Bannie “Pleumanimox” Bandibas ay isang akawntant, manunulat at manananghal-tula mula sa Lungsod ng Heneral Santos. Sinanay bilang kasapi ng SOCCSKSARGEN Writers Collective (miyembro), Akademyang Pampanitikan (editor-in-chief), Spoken Word Poetry University (Facebook, administrador) at moderator ng Words by the South-General Santos. Lumalahok sa mga lokal at onlayn na patimpalak, nagtatanghal ng spoken word poetry, at hilig niya ang magpasa ng mga piyesa sa mga call for submission at lathalain
