I was in this fastfood restaurant, took my lunch at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Got a plate of spaghetti with large fries and a cheat day sundae. It was a usual day, I planned to watch a movie after my meal but i didn't expected to experience a realtime and real life movie scene.
I took the seat in a long white table where people without companions usually sit, I guess. After a few minutes, a guy seated on the other corner facing me. I didn't stare at his face but I stole some glimpse and then I realized that I know this person.
From that moment, my hands started shaking and thoughts are rumbling in my head. I tried to finish my food as fast I could until the guy stood up and rapidly walked through the restaurant's doorway. I didn't saw where he gone, where they gone.
I picked a french fries, dipped it on the sundae and then slowly devoured the poor thing. "She saw me." I whispered while staring at the empty plate. I know, even my eyes didn't saw you but I know you were there. That guy is your guy, the person you love before we got feelings with each other and up until now. The man you loved even in the times you are with me, also, in this place. The man you never stopped loving. The man that I can never took the place.
I finished my food still thinking of the why's you left me asking in my mind. But It'll be fine. I'll be fine leaving it unanswered. You have your reasons and I always respect that.
We learned. We learned a lot and I'm glad we did.
