Crossroad
ni Bannie Bandibas
Yesterday,
we were just people
taking this road
of cement and pebble.
Walking on
our own ways,
living
our own days.
Until we met
on that crossroad,
silence turns to
into the noisiest mode.
We were overwhelmed,
so we tied a knot
with the red string,
solved each others math.
But the knot
turns into chains,
and it causes
too much pains.
Scratches we got,
bleed in blue.
The coldest nights,
like our hearts too.
We started to walk
in separate ways
'cause it's hard
to fight for our case.
Leaving our memories
on that crossroad,
left solving
it's own morse code.
But I still hope
to see you again,
though we never
knew when.
I may found
crossroads in thousands,
still, I'll cherish
the one where we once held hands.
